Lamberts partnered with the team behind Biànca and acclaimed architects Richards and Spence to deliver a bold, expertly crafted restaurant fitout in the heart of Brisbane’s James Street precinct. This project was shaped by a strong architectural vision, brought to life through the striking custom-made grid ceiling that floats above the dining space. Lamberts built and installed over 100 custom powder-coated steel brackets to support the structure, creating a clean and consistent pattern that adds to the calm, simple beauty of the design.
A key feature of the fitout is the use of custom Japanese tiles, hundreds of thousands of them, carefully sourced and laid with close attention to detail. These handmade tiles bring texture, warmth, and soft colour variation, adding depth and character to the space. From major structural elements to the smallest finishes, every part of the fitout was delivered with Lamberts’ well known care, skill, and teamwork. The result is a vibrant and polished interior that showcases great design, quality materials, and a deep respect for hospitality.
